I can stand on my head

He literally made me stand on my head. Something I thought I wouldn’t master in a long time from now. I’ve practiced. A lot, almost daily. Because I really want to stand on my head like some people who go to my yoga class do. For me, this is like the ultimate yoga asana that I yet have to master. In fact, I’m also getting better in some other asanas as well. I can easily reach my toes and I’m almost able to support my whole body weight just on my hands. Actullay, I succeeded in it just Friday morning. Progress. My whole life is progressing. And I do like the direction it has taken. Natural food, faster and more flexible me. Healthy lifestyle. Although, I’ve been looking that way for a long time now. And it’s good to know that there are people doing the same thing. Many people from our running group are experimenting with natural food – self-made, organic, no additives – and it has become quite a trend among us. A good one, I would say. He’s on the boat as well. We can talk about food and cooking because we both cook. In our separate homes, but still. Mmm, so interesting. And we do love sprouts.

Tomorrow, I’ll practice standing on my head. Again.

Dinner for one

Ready-made and packaged dinner for one is probably the saddest product in the store. Ready-made food is already kind of sad because it lacks warmth and that personal touch that makes every meal special. Eating alone is another sad thing an individual can experience. Cats eating their Royal Canin at the same time you take out your bowl do not count. I don’t buy ready-made food nor do I have the ability to cook just one portion. The more, the merrier. One day maybe I won’t have to eat those portions, divided on separate days, all by myself.

What an odd thing to eat – Scotch Egg!

Scotch Egg

While lingering in Corsham, waiting for my bus to Bath, hungry, I came across with this peculiar snack from the local Co-Op. When I buy food on the go, I try to avoid all the pastries. Although I like them, they are just bunch of carbs I’d rather not have on my hips and belly forever. Maybe when I get back into running more often, I can eat some more carbs. So, basically I look for protein-packed snacks. They keep me full longer anyway. This time I bought this funny little thing: Scotch Egg. It is a boiled egg in sausage meat, covered with bread crumbs and then deep fried. Ok, the “deep fried” part doesn’t sound very healthy but at least it had some protein! It was OK, but the egg was slightly dry. Anyhow, I’d like to try and make it myself. One beautiful day. Indeed. Have to figure out how to make the egg less dry and tastier.

Somehow I felt sick after eating that egg. Don’t think it was the egg, I was already feeling slightly sick in the morning. Out of blue. No, I’m not pregnant, although some people would love it if I was!
